ALL OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ENTIRELY BY PART-TIME UNPAID VOLUNTEERS.

CLAWSnPAWS HARTLEPOOL IS PRIMARILY A GUIDANCE, SUPPORT, ASSIST & ADVICE SERVICE. & CURRENTLY DOES NOT RUN A SANCTUARY or SHELTER. BIRDS & ANIMALS THAT IT SUPPORTS & CARE FOR ARE FOSTERED BY OUR TRAINED VOLUNTEERS. ADOPTED or PLACED AT OTHER SANCTUARIES OR SHELTERS.

ClawsnPaws Hartlepool's main RESCUE SERVICES are in response to calls for assistance from other main Bird & Animal Welfare and Conservation Organisations.

ClawsnPaws Hartlepool DOES NOT accommodate CATS, DOGS, or REPTILES but can give guidance & support by signposting links to local partner organisations, sanctuaries and shelters with the right, best and nearest resources to assist using the advice service above.

- NON-DESTROY POLICY-

Only in cases, where it is clear it is the final choice, or if a bird or animal is in severe pain with no possibility of prolonging a pain free full quality of life, is any injured,neglected or abused bird or animal humanely destroyed or advised to be. Very often it is the final best help we can give. We ensure all such decisions are always made by a fully qualified and publicly practising Vet.
